Abu Garcia brings the ultimate in value to the table with the Kalex reel, a smooth-performing, durable reel with a powerful multi-disk drag system. The Kalex incorporates a free-spool baitcast design that allows for accurate, long-distance casting, along with a recessed foot that sets the reel lower on the rod. To improve retrieve, Abu Garcia added four stainless-steel bearings and an additional corrosion-resistant instant anti-reverse bearing. Other features include a six-pin centrifugal brake, an ADS spool design for extreme loads, a synchronized Levelwind system, a high-speed gear ratio, and a Ti-coated line guide.
